Suspect tries to stab officer in Greece

On Tuesday morning around 11am the Greece Police Department responded to Grecian Garden Apartments for a check the welfare of a resident.  As officers arrived on scene and made contact with the male, they noticed he was exhibiting erratic behavior. The male pulled a knife and attempted to stab one of the officers.  

Another officer on the scene pulled his weapon and shot one round toward the male.  The male retreated back into his residence, where officers are still actively in communication with the male.  

The Greece Police Department is asking the community to avoid the area while they safely resolve this matter.
